My name is Sandra, I have been a barber for 13 years, but an artist my whole life. I spent a lot of my childhood in my room drawing and painting comic characters, or creating contraptions like Rube Goldberg. I have always thought outside of the box, and I have a desire to bring my ideas into reality. My motivation for my creative ideas is problem-solving. I love the barbering industry, however there are a lot of antiquated practices and tools used based on tradition. My desire is to create valuable products that help the industry advance efficiently. I feel The SaniDuster is a perfect tool for the industry, especially during a pandemic. I came up with the idea for The SaniDuster, during quarantine in May 2020 in my living room. When my barbershop was to reopen, I wanted to have the safest practices in place so everyone would remain healthy. The SaniDuster is a neck duster with a comfortable handle and removable bristles. The brush attachments are reusable and eco-friendly disposable. When the barber completes the service, they can remove the bristles and toss them, or wash and sanitize them at the end of the work day. Easily prevent cross-contamination between clients.
